Our story
Why Blessford
Blessford Inc. was incorporated in Georgia on September 7, 2026 to publish books that give people a reason to put the screen down. We began with coloring books because they ask so little and return so much: a pencil, a page and a little time.
Our publishing program spans more than 1,000 titles across multiple series. The first 68 titles, in 15 series, are complete and shown in our catalogue — from one-big-picture books for three-year-olds to realistic, breed-by-breed portraits of the animals people share their homes with. Every one of them is printed single-sided, checked against a written standard and released only when the files pass.
A ford is the place where a river can be crossed. The name is a small promise: that what we publish should help someone get from a crowded day to a quieter one. The butterfly and the star in our mark stand for the same two things — lightness, and a sense of direction.

We hold line art to a written, measurable standard — and we redraw what falls short rather than argue with the ruler.

We are building a catalogue meant to stay in print for years. A series grows only when the next volume deserves its place.
How we publish
Three commitments in every book.
Made to be colored
Every illustration is printed on one side of the sheet, so markers and gel pens never spoil the next picture. Lines are drawn for the pencil in your hand, not for the thumbnail on a screen.
Built as series
Each title belongs to a series with a fixed trim size, a consistent line weight and a shared cover system. When you find a book you love, the next one will feel the same in your hands.
Checked before it is printed
Every page is measured for line quality and open coloring space, and every file is validated against the printer’s specification before a book is released.
