Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website. We build it toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement describes what we have done; it is not a certification, and the site has not been independently audited.
What we have done
- Every page can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields for screen readers.
- Text and interface colors are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios.
- Book covers carry text alternatives naming the title; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Animation is subtle and is switched off when your system asks for reduced motion.
- All content is readable with scripting disabled, and text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.
Known limitations
Cover images contain lettering that is part of the artwork; the same title and subtitle are given as text on each book page. The contact form opens your own email application; if that does not suit you, write to us directly at the address below.
